Why We’re Making the Switch: The Power of Instant Payouts

With grant funds winding down and inflation rising, we know that accessing your revenue early is more critical than ever. We’ve evolved our platform to put you completely in control.

What This Means for Your Business:

Immediate Liquidity

Access your funds ahead of your events rather than waiting until they conclude. Cover your immediate operational expenses without the wait.

Direct & Immediate Control

Revenue funds will be sent directly to your own Stripe account, allowing you to choose and control your own payout schedule based on your specific business needs.

Zero Disruption to Reporting

Your Spark dashboard remains your source of truth. All HoldMyTicket reporting will remain exactly as it is today.

Simplified Fee Structure

HoldMyTicket (HMT) will continue to cover credit card processing fees to Stripe. Our platform fee and the CC fee will be automatically allocated to our account during the transaction, leaving your net revenue fully ready for use.

What’s Next & Clear Details of the Transition

Our transition to instant payouts with Stripe begins June 23rd. We will begin enrolling accounts over a two week period, so you may not see the Stripe Connect prompt for a week or two after this date.

Once your HoldMyTicket account is enrolled, you will be prompted to connect your Stripe account to complete setup.

If you have not created a Stripe account by your enrollment date, you will be given a three-week grace period to connect your Stripe account to avoid disruption. After the grace period is over, you will be required to connect a Stripe account to access Spark.

To ensure a seamless transition when we officially launch the connection, you can get a head start today:

  • If you are a current HMT Merchant User: You will be required to create a new Stripe account and set up banking info with debit capabilities.

  • If you are an existing Stripe User: Even if you already have an account, you will need to re-onboard under our new Stripe agreement to link with our platform.
