Streamlined Festival Ticketing System for New Mexico’s Largest Event Production Company

Drawing over 23,000 attendees annually, Blue River Productions' 100+ large-scale events consistently rank among New Mexico Business Weekly’s largest annual festivals. From niche food experiences to wine and beer fairs, BRP hosts over 200 vendors across diverse private, state, and city-owned venues.


Executing these festive occasions presented major challenges, such as inefficient communication methods on event day and a cluttered user interface of ticket options.


With a broad network of festivals showcasing different activities, BRP sought a tailored solution that would strengthen communication, ticket organization, and operational efficiency. Most importantly, festival ticketing software that creates a better buying experience for patrons, such as promotional components and a seamless checkout interface.


Solution:


Having transformed the user experience for event organizers for over 15 years, HoldMyTicket’s adaptive event ticketing software, simple user interface, and agile solutions is the perfect match for BRP’s dynamic production needs.


Candidly, BRP expressed interest in ticketing features offered by competitors, but preferred our high-touch, accessible customer service framework incomparable to other ticketing partners.


Our team analyzed BRP's festival ticketing system and developed a multi-stage solution to support every phase of their event planning. As part of early marketing efforts, this solution enabled us to import thousands of coupon codes into our event management platform, Spark.


With Spark, BRP can now use ticket groups and event add-ons to streamline ticket selection, such as stage access and premium classes, which simplifies the checkout process. Attendees can easily find tickets, select multiple activities, and request upgrades for BRP’s endless curated experiences.


Additionally, we custom built a SMS marketing system that sends timely notifications to attendees before, during, and after event day.  


Results:


  • The redesigned event page interface decreased buyer confusion, leading to fewer support inquiries.
