Business Development / Account Executive


HoldMyTicket is offering a strategic sales opportunity within our rapidly growing software company based in Albuquerque, NM. HoldMyTicket is seeking an experienced and aggressive Business Development / Account Executive to partner with various HoldMyTicket operations departments to facilitate strong client relationships and increasing our revenue stream. The ideal candidate will be a professional, self-starter, able to work autonomously, have exceptional written and verbal skills and perform in an entrepreneurial environment. Previous sales experience, ideally in a startup/high-growth, highly-matrixed, tech company preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell HoldMyTicket’s software and services within specified markets: music, entertainment, events and tours
  • Employee has the authority to negotiate and close potential deals when selling software and service contracts with potential clients
  • Present quarterly reports to our management team detailing the employee’s progression towards bookings and annual sales pipeline and revenue
  • Responsible for end to end sales activities from lead generation to signed agreements while maintaining continuous client relationships
  • Make knowledgeable recommends to prospects and clients of the various HoldMyTicket software solutions to best suit their business
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of HoldMyTicket’s software to promote sales
  • Demonstrate product knowledge to for effective presentation of HoldMyTicket’s software and services
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to expand national sales efforts by co-authoring internal and external marketing materials
  • Maintain our C.R.M. with prospecting activities, referrals, meetings, internet research, sales - including sales calls, emails, presentations, closed sales, follow-up activities and networking
  • Travel domestically (15%) to various ticketing and music industry conferences and networking opportunities
  • Execute and document tasks on a weekly performance sheet including cold calling, emailing, appointment setting, webinars. Estimated cold calls/emails weekly - 100 to 150
  • Work within a set sales budget responsibly
  • This position has both salary and commission components
